Duration 11 days. May – October
Itinerary
Day-1. Arrival at Almaty and transfer to Otrar hotel, dinner and O/N at hotel.
Day-2. Drive to Karakol through Mountain pass ,Upon arrival transfer to hotel for dinner
and overnight.
Day-3. Sightseeing at Karakol, meals and overnight at hotel.
Day-4. Drive to Altyn-Arashan gorge and trek to lake Ala-Kol (3360m).Dinner and overnight in tents (5-7 hours walk).
Day-5. Descend to Karakol gorge (6-7 hours). O/N in tents.
Day-6. Excursion to the foot of Karakol peak (5281m) return to camp for overnight (6-8
hours). O/N in tents.
Day-7. Trek to Dzety-Oguz gorge via Telety pass (5-7 hours). O/N in tents.
Day-8. Across Dzety-Oguz towards At-Jailo-Pass (5-7 hours). O/N in tents.
Day-9. Traverse At-Jailo pass south coast of lake Issyk-Kul to Bishkek enroute visit
historical Burana tower ,Upon arrival transfer to Dostuk hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day-10. Morning excursion to Ala-Archa nature park for a close view of mountain panorama,
PM CSS of Bishkek , dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day-11. Drive to Almaty and after city tour transfer to airport for return flight.
